The
Catholic Public Policy Commission offers these positions on issues
of concern to the Church and the state of Tennessee. Through our staff,
board members and committee members, we address these and other issues
before the State Legislature. Communicating with the policy makers
what our Catholic social teachings are is a part of faithful citizenship.
When we collaborate with public policy leaders we can make an
impact on the issues that concern us such as, respect for human life
and dignity, refugees, justice and peace, tax policies and education.
